LORD Microstrain Inertial Measurement Units (IMU)

LORD Microstrain Inertial Measurement Units (IMU) integrate multi-axes, accelerometers, gyroscopes, and other sensors to estimate an object's orientation in space. Measurements of acceleration, angular rate, and attitude are typical data outputs. IMU inertial sensors are commonly used in robot dynamic motion and terrain compensation, payload platform stabilization, and antenna and camera pointing applications.

The 3DMCV7 offers tactical grade inertial performance in a small and light OEM package. The device is available in IMU/AR (attitude reference) options. Each 3DMCV7 is individually calibrated for optimal performance over a wide range of operating conditions.
