SA306-IHZ / SA57-IHZ PWM ICs

The Cirrus Logic SA306-IHZ PWM IC and SA57-IHZ PWM IC address the lack of off-the-shelf solutions targeted at driving fractional horsepower DC motors that operate in the 9V to 60V supply range. Each IC offers a space-saving monolithic single package solution versus discrete solutions that require more board space. The SA306-IHZ and SA57-IHZ deliver high performance features including 5A of continuous output current and an industry-first 17A of peak current. These Cirrus Logic devices increase the thermal efficiency of motor control designs and minimze the power dissipation issues compared with a linear amplifier. Each IC allows for smaller filter components by switching at frequencies of up to 100 kHz.
