Gen. 5.0 High-Performance Schottky Rectifiers

The Vishay Semiconductors Gen 5.0 high-performance 45V and 100V Schottky rectifier series sets a new industry standard by extending the current capability up to 20 A. The Vishay Semiconductors Gen 5.0 Schottky rectifier is built on submicron trench technology and is suitable as a standalone package for high-efficiency, high-density solutions. This Vishay Semiconductors diode series features maximum forward voltage drops at +125°C of < 0.54V typical at 6 A and 20 A for the 45V devices and < 0.65V at 10 A and 20 A for the 100V devices. The Gen 5.0 Schottky rectifier is optimized for a variety of applications, including AC-to-DC secondary rectification, flyback, buck and boost converters, half-bridge, reverse battery protection, freewheeling, dc-to-dc module, and solar photovoltaic bypass diode applications.
