Microchip Technology EV99F34A Evaluation Board

The Microchip Technology EV99F34A Evaluation Board provides designers with the necessary environment to evaluate the performance and implementation of the PD77718T3/PD77718T4 Power over Ethernet (PoE) managers and the PD77010 PoE controller. The board operates in controller mode with the PD77010 and supports eight IEEE® 802.3bt 2-pair ports via the PD77718T3 and eight IEEE 802.3bt 4-pair ports via two PD77718T4 devices. Designed for PoE power sourcing equipment development, EV99F34A supports IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3bt standards, including Type 4 power delivery. The board enables engineers to evaluate multi-port PoE performance and implementation flexibility.

The Microchip EV99F34A features dual RJ45 connector gangs, USB Type-C® connectivity for GUI-based configuration, and LED status indicators for all ports. The board operates from a single power source, simplifying setup and testing. With included demonstration firmware that supports both 2-pair and 4-pair operation, the board accelerates the design of enterprise networking, industrial Ethernet, and smart-building PoE applications.
