ROHM Semiconductor BD83A44 Automotive White 4-Channel LED Driver
ROHM Semiconductor BD83A44 Automotive White 4-Channel LED Driver is for LCD backlights. The ROHM BD83A44 LED driver features MOS for boost and 4-channel current drivers for LED drive, making the device ideal for high-brightness LED drives. A 50V LED pin maximum voltage makes the driver suitable for driving medium LCD panels. The pulse width modulation (PWM) signal controls dimming and can be set to 20,000:1 at 100Hz. BD83A44 supports analog dimming and accommodates even higher brightness ranges by combining with PWM dimming. DC/DC converters can be controlled for boost applications. The AEC-Q100-qualified BD83A44 LED driver operates in a 4.5V to 48.0V input voltage range.
