Fan Drivers for Digital X-Ray Imaging

A small DC fan in a thermal management role may still need a driver to increase the strength or power of an output signal from the controller to the fan. The fan itself may require current and voltage levels that exceed the capacity of output of the controller. Essentially, a fan driver is a power amplifier for the output of the controller.
