Nexperia ASFETs for Hotswap and Soft Start offer strong SOA and low R_DS(on) capabilities in a single device optimized for a non-stop world. Nexperia ASFETs protect always-on rack-based computers, communications, and storage systems from power disruption and component failure. When inserted into a live system, these components on replacement boards depend on a carefully controlled in-rush current.
