Molex MLX™ 電源コネクタは直径2.13mmのプラグとキャップによる電源接続を利用する業界との互換性を有し、また業界標準製品との相互嵌合性および相互取付性有り。MLXコネクタは非常に多く利用される構成にて多様な提供が可能。筐体には等級UL94V-2およびUL94V-0の6/6ナイロン材で成形されグロウワイヤー性に適合する材料を使用。筐体は、オスメス両方のMolex端子用に設計。更に業界互換端子も使用可能。Molex は回路2と回路3に回路識別溝と 業界標準識別リブを設け更に利便性を向上。
