Broadcom HFBR-152xETZ/HFBR-252xETZ Robust VL Devices
Broadcom HFBR-1521ETZ and HFBR-1522 transmitters and HFBR-2521ETZ and HFBR-2522ETZ receivers are Robust Versatile Link (VL) series fiber optic devices designed to help eliminate any electromagnetic interference, crosstalk, and electrical ground problems that are common with copper wire solutions. This makes Broadcom HFBR-152xETZ and HFBR-252xETZ Robust VL fiber optic devices suitable for use in system control or drives in wind turbines and solar farms, traction inverters in trains, and other industrial applications and medical systems.Based on infrared technology, the Robust VL transmitters come in a plastic housing that interlocks for single-channel or duplex links in a vertical or horizontal mount configuration, providing design flexibility. These cost-effective semiconductor solutions are available with an extended temperature range from -40ºC to +85ºC. Broadcom Robust VL fiber optic transmitters and receivers are ideal for use in motor controller triggering and data communications and local area networks, and for reduction of lightning/voltage transient susceptibility.
