DFRobot DFR0580 Solar Power Manager For 12V Battery

DFRobot DFR0580 Solar Power Manager For 12V Lead-Acid Battery is a medium-power, high-efficiency solar power management module. This module can charge a 12V lead-acid battery with a maximum of 4A using a standard 18V solar panel. The DFR0580 solar power development tool features MPPT(Maximum Power Point Tracking) function that maximizes the output power of solar panels under various sunlight. This solar power manager improves charging performance by 10% to 30% compared to common PWM solar controllers.

The DFR0580 solar power module incorporates multiple high-efficiency outputs for 12V or 5V large power devices, status indicators, and a safe and high-efficiency solar power module. This module is benefited from its small size and lightweight, which makes it easier to embed in projects. The DFR0580 module provides dual high-power outputs 5V 5A (OUT1), 12V 8A (OUT2), and dual USB outputs 5V 2.5A (USB1/USB2). Except for USB1, all outputs can be turned ON/OFF by the I/O pins of most controllers, this feature helps to reduce power loads and power consumption dynamically. This module is suitable for applications within 100W, such as 12V lighting equipment, security monitoring, pumps or environmental monitoring stations, and small robots.
