Harwin Datamate Metal Backshells

Harwin Datamate Metal Backshells prevent electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) thanks to the aluminum alloy construction with electroless nickel plating. The series is designed for use with J-Tek and Mix-Tek connectors. The metal backshells offer an RF attenuation rating of 10kHz to 400MHz at >30dBs for existing designs and new builds. The female backshells feature a single large elliptical straight cable-entry port that accepts signal, power, and coax cable for varied requirements. Vertical and horizontal male PCB-mount and panel-mount configurations are available for a fully shielded solution. Horizontal PCB-mount backshells are compatible with through-board and SMT terminations and can be assembled any time after the connector is mounted to the board.
