テキサス・インスツルメンツの高集積デジタル・コントローラUCD3138xは、シングルチップ・ソリューションで優れたレベルの統合性とパフォーマンスを提供するデジタル電源コントローラです。UCD3138xは、UCD3138A64で64kBのプログラムFlashメモリになり（UCD3138128では128kB）、SPIと2つ目のI2Cポートなどの通信では追加オプションになります。複数の32kBバンク内にプログラムFlashメモリがあるため、設計者はデバイスでファームウェアのデュアルイメージ（例：1つのメインイメージ + 1つのバックアップイメージ）を実装でき、正しいアルゴリズムを使用していずれかのバンクから実行するオプションになります。また、プロセッサで新しいプログラムを読み込み、その後、電力供給を中断することなくプログラムを実行するという、他にはない機会も生まれます。この機能により、エンドユーザーはフィールドで新しい機能を電源に追加でき、その一方で新しいプログラムを読み込む際に必要なダウンタイムを不要にします。
