Nordic Semiconductor Thingy:91™ マルチセンサプロトタイピングキットは、nRF9160システムインパッケージ（SIP）を使用してセルラーモノのインターネット・プロジェクトを開始する際に最適です。Thingy:91は、セルラーおよびBluetoth®のテスト実施が可能になるnRF9160 SIPを中心に構築されています。Thingy:91は、NordicのThingy:52によく似ていますが、Bluetothに加えてセルラーテストも実施できます。Thingy:91は、物流と資産追跡、メータ計測、ウェアラブルなどのアプリケーションで使用されます。この専用無線システムは、全地球測位（GPS）に加えて、LTE-Mナローバンド・モノのインターネット（NB-IoT）テクノロジーに対応できます。nRF9160 SiPは、完全パワーマネジメント・システムに加えて、フロントエンドRFシステムを統合しています。

The Thingy:91 is a prototyping platform from Nordic with LTE-M, NB-IoT, GNSS connectivity, and an assortment of environmental sensors. It shares many commonalities with Thingy:53, the multi-protocol IoT prototyping platform that supports Bluetooth LE, Bluetooth mesh, Thread, Zigbee®, Matter, and proprietary 2.4 GHz protocols. Use cases for the Thingy:91 include but are not limited to, asset tracking, logistics, metering, and wearables.

The dedicated LTE modem enables global operation with the same variant and supports eDRX and PSM power-saving features. Firmware Over-the-Air (FOTA) is also supported in the nRF9160 SiP modem. Nordic’s cloud solution, nRF Cloud, enables FOTA capabilities out of the box, in addition to cellular, GNSS, and Wi-Fi-based location services for acquiring accurate and power-efficient location details.

The nRF9160 SiP also integrates a full RF front-end and a complete power management system. The Thingy:91 is bundled with a global iBasis eSIM with 10MB of free data for worldwide connection to nRF Cloud out of the box.
